About Blanco Mar Restaurante Tenerife

The moment a dish arrives resembles a small work of art—fresh seafood glistening under a subtle drizzle of olive oil, hinting at the ocean's immediacy. At Blanco Mar Restaurante Tenerife, the balance between traditional recipes and creative touches becomes evident through the diverse range offered. While the menu highlights classic Canarian fish dishes, unexpected flavors in sauces and sides add an intriguing complexity. Photographs online capture this allure well, revealing plates that look as inviting as they taste, although the visual presentation occasionally overshadows the nuances of seasoning found in the actual dining experience.

Mingling the quiet hum of local diners with the gentle clatter of cutlery, the atmosphere manages to be both relaxed and focused on the meal. The restaurant’s layout steers clear of pretentiousness, favoring an understated charm that seems to encourage lingering over conversations and a good bottle of wine. Staff interactions feel knowledgeable but can veer toward brisk, occasionally impacting the warm familiarity often appreciated in seafood establishments. Reviews from repeat visitors reflect this duality, praising the authenticity of flavors while noting moments where attentiveness might wane during peak hours.

Economic considerations emerge with a measured approach to pricing, where the quality of regional catches justifies moderate expense but leaves some menu items teetering on the edge of ambitious portion sizes. The surrounding environment—though not always visible in every Blanco Mar Restaurante Tenerife photo—complements the culinary intent, emphasizing freshness more than spectacle. In all, the experience resonates with those who seek genuine seafood offerings rooted in local tradition, albeit with minor inconsistencies in pace and presentation that contribute to a textured, sometimes unpredictable, dining narrative.

The food is out of this world!! Don’t be decieved by the rustic ambiance, this is the best meal I’ve had in Tenerife. Kind staff, great view of the sea, nothing to complain about :)

Great food, friendly staff, pleasant location. I had the classic carbonara. Very tasty. They served two unique dips with a roll and some breadsticks.

We just discovered your restaurant a few days before we left and made a reservation for the day before we left the island because the menu looked great and we noticed to be more fond of Italian than Spanish food. The atmosphere is both professional and leger / cozy. Especially we liked to look outside from the inside between two houses at the sea. The kitchen is in the same room as the dining tables and every now and then you hear and smell the grill and get excited about what is coming to your or your neighbours table. Ah and you have a good music taste! We ordered the grilled sea food plate and the tagliatelle with gambas, guincale and pistacchio cream. As a start we had the best Mojo of our stay so far - which was kinda weird being actually in an Italian restaurant ;) Both our main dishes exceeded our expectations - grilled on point and absolutely delicious was everything on the plate. And the pasta combination - pistacchio, gambas, guanciale, tomato and fresh pasta - was sooooo good, easy and harmonic. The pana cotta was a little too liquid like but the sweet and milky taste was just what we needed after the sea food. We really appreciated that we tasted and felt the heart - in the dishes and also in the sometimes a little funny but very sweet decoration - which touristic areas often miss. Please stay the way you are. Your resto is beautiful and a delight for everyone who just looks out for exceptional but down to earth sea food! It felt like a warm hug from an auntie. Thank you for making our last night so memorable!

Had the best dinner on Tenerife here! Strongly encourage you to visit this place: the mix of Italian and Canarian cuisines is fantastic. The pasta, dorado and tiramisu were just perfect. And it’s located right by the ocean.. just a lovely place

Incredibile location and service! They were super nice to accept our last minute request on the first evening we arrived in the area when all the restaurants refused us. Later we had there our best St Valentine’s dinner under the stars and moon. Very tasty and fresh seafood. Many thanks guys

We stopped by this restaurant for our last lunch before flying home. It was the best food, setting and service we had during our whole 10 days on the island. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back. We had the grilled squid, seafood pasta and pasta with clams and mussels. It was all delicious.

Quiet, cozy, small and discreet restaurant run by an Italian couple serving their homemade Italian food as well as fresh seafood and fish locally sourced. Welcoming, warm, light-hearted and jolly. Sea views stretching across the tiny street and out to the blue Atlantic. Excellent Sangria, delicious grilled seafood platter and mushroom croquettes. Decent prices.

Really delicious pasta. it is situated in a quiet village and would be a drive for many. The menus are in multiple languages, mainly consists of pastas and other seafood dishes. We had mixed salad - it was delicious while I think they can dial down on the chia seeds as it makes people full. Octopus was great except it was oddly paired with bowl of potatoes. There were almost 10 potatoes in the basket. Perhaps it is the canarian way. The prices were not cheap but absolutely reasonable for the quality.
